Job Description / Duties

The Manager, Production and Events is an essential role that supports research, partnerships and student learning outcomes by managing, planning, and facilitating all aspects of productions, events, and activities prioritized by the School. In this role, the Manager, Production and Events oversees the big picture, collaborates and communicates, sorts out the logistics of how it is all going to work, and strategizes with the Director, Goldcorp Centre for the Arts Production and Event Services, GCA Manager, Audience and Events Services and SCA's Technical Director.

Qualifications / Required Skills

-Excellent knowledge in production and event organization, management, administration, scheduling, and budgeting.
-Excellent and broad technical knowledge across lighting, sound, video, carpentry, rigging, video-conferencing, and the ability to apply that knowledge to assess production and event needs.
-Good knowledge of audience services.
-Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
-Excellent time management skills, and the ability to schedule and manage multiple events concurrently, including the ability to coordinate multiple facets of an event simultaneously.

Salary: $64,973.00-$77,589.00
