What's New > State of Production Survey
This is a message from Means of Production.
Hi folks!
It’s Means of Production, and we’re reaching out to you now to send you our State of Production Survey. As we continue to develop our strategies and activities for 2022 and beyond, we’d like to get a better picture of what production work and production workers are like at all career levels, across the country. In our survey, we ask questions relating to your career, your quality of life, and the state of the industry. All survey responses are collected anonymously, and no identifying data outside of your answers is attached.
This particular survey is intended for those who identify as production managers and technical directors working in Canada, no matter what their level of experience. If you don’t identify along those lines, no worries! There are some questions at the beginning of the survey that are applicable to everyone. And please help us reach as many folks as possible by sharing this with your friends and colleagues.
Click here to take the survey. This survey will be live until January 30th, 2022.
As a thank you for participating in this survey, there’s a link at the end to a Google Form where you can sign up for a chance to win one of six $50 prizes!
After the survey is closed, we will be continuing this conversation with a series of consultations with individual production workers to have more in-depth conversations about how you work, what you need, and what direction you’d like to see live arts production moving in. If you would be interested in participating in a consultation, please fill out the survey and email us at research@pmtd.ca for more information. There will be a small honorarium available for those who wish to provide a consultation.
While it is our intention to publish the data and feedback we receive through our consults, please be assured that your identity is not attached to your response, and the specific responses you provide for this survey or in consultation with us will be kept confidential. Survey results will only be shared in the aggregate, and your information given in response to the survey or a consultation will never be given to a third party.
If you have any concerns or questions about this survey, or are curious about the rest of our work, please feel free to reach out to Pip Bradford at research@pmtd.ca.
Thank you for your continued interest & support of production and production workers. We really appreciate you!
Yours in production,
Pip Bradford, Steward - Research Pillar, Means of Production
