Introducing the new Graduate Certificate in Creative Practices in Technical Production for Live Performance at Concordia University
January 25, 2011
Concordia University’s Faculty of Fine Arts in Montréal, Québec is pleased to announce its new Graduate Certificate in Creative Practices in Technical Production for Live Performance, offered jointly by the Departments of Music, Theatre and Contemporary Dance.
Designed to explore the relationship between technical knowledge and the creative process, the graduate certificate aims to re-envision the role of technical production in live performance by helping students move beyond their traditional roles.
It is a hybrid program, responding to the current needs of the performing arts industry, a program where creators and technicians meet, and where their respective needs and interests interconnect and weave together to invent new ways of collaborating and creating.
Applications are now being accepted for admission for Fall 2011.
For complete program and admission information, please consult the Theatre website.
Best regards,
Eric Mongerson
Graduate Program Director
