Starting May 1st, 2014, the GST & HST to be added to CITT membership dues.
At the CITT Board meeting on February 8, the board voted to add GST/HST to all membership dues. This will come into affect on May 1st, which is the start of CITT's new fiscal year. The current CITT membership fees will remain the same, but with the taxes added to the amount. Please note that last membership fee increase dates back to 2005.
If your membership came up for renewal, you would have received a notice by email asking you to renew - click here to renew. You will receive an invoice by email.
If your membership is already expired and you wish to maintain your membership with CITT, please click here to renew and update your membership profile on-line.
If you prefer not to renew your membership, please inform us at info@citt.org so that we can update our membership datafile.
Which taxes will be added to the membership dues?
Depending on your province or territory of residence:
- GST will be added to the members residing in the provinces of BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, as well as the Northwest Territories and Yukon.
- HST will be added to members residing in the provinces of Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland & Labrador.
- GST & QST will be added to members residing in Québec.
- There is no GST for members residing in the USA or abroad.
