Facilitation, Change Management and Conflict Resolution in the Arts
When an arts consultant is asked to facilitate group consensus on fundamental questions of institutional mission, organizational direction and/or governance-management structures, there are often deeper issues involved.
A simple group mission review process requires facilitation skills. Reconsidering organizational direction can require diagnostic skills. Resolving governance and management differences can require mediation skills.
An understanding of facilitation techniques, change management theory and conflict resolution principles are fundamental to successful arts consulting. Join us for an introduction to these three areas.
