Elections for the open positions on the 2021 ESTA Board of Directors will begin on October 1, 2020. The ESTA Nominating Committee is currently seeking candidates to serve.

Positions to be filled commencing January 1, 2021 serving through Dec. 31, 2023 are:

Officer Candidates

President Todd Spencer appointed Tracey Cosgrove to fill the office of Vice President for the year 2020. Tracey (Rose Brand) has agreed to run for the position of Vice President.

President Todd Spencer appointed Elmer Veith to fill the office of Secretary for the year 2020. Elmer (Reliable Design Services) has agreed to run for the position of Secretary.

Serving as an Officer on the Board requires a large amount of time and dedication. Board Officers also comprise the Executive Committee. As such, Officers must be available to meet virtually both for regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings. Officers must be able to weigh in on matters affecting the association, and to provide recommendations to leadership. It is essential to the smooth running of the association that the incoming Officers have experience in the demands and work generated by leading an association Board of Directors. Candidates for Officers on the Board must come from Business or Organizational membership categories.

Director Candidates

A candidate for a Director position must be an ESTA member of the category for the Board position up for election. For Business Directors, candidates must have a primary classification for the Board position up for election.

Production Services Director Orestes Mihaly (PRG) has served two terms and cannot run again.

Rental Company Director John Cini (High Output, Inc.) has served two terms and cannot run again.

If you are interested in serving on the Board:

• Please review the Candidate Information document detailing the duties and responsibilities of all positions.
• Submit the Self-Nomination Form for consideration by the committee to nominations@esta.org no later than September 1, 2020. 

ESTA members may suggest potential candidates by submitting the form or contacting nominations@esta.org by August 15, 2019.

ESTA members may also add a candidate to the ballot by submitting the Self-Nomination form along with a petition signed by 10% of the candidate's applicable voting membership. For an officer position the petition must be signed by 10% of the voting members of the association. For a Director position the petition must be signed by 10% of voting membership for the specified category. For information on the voting membership, submit your request to membership@esta.org no later than August 13, 2020. Candidate applications and petitions must be filed with the Committee no later than September 1, 2020.
