CITT's 22nd Trade Show - be part of the action and reserve your booth today!

Plan ahead for this summer's CITT 22nd Rendez-vous Annnual Conference and Trade Show, a one-of-a-kind annual classic within the Canadian performing arts and entertainment industry combining professional development workshops and seminars, social events, and exceptional networking opportunities for members and fellow colleagues from across the country.

This year, Rendez-vous 2012 will take place in London, Ontario from August 16 to 18 with the trade show scheduled on Friday August 17 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

WHY CITT RENDEZ-VOUS?
CITT's annual conference and trade show attracts over 200 attendees, presenters and exhibitors from across Canada and abroad who come together to share their knowledge and expertise with one another. The conference offers three full days of workshops, social events, seminars and professional development sessions featuring lighting and sound technology, design, architecture, management, and production. Pre-conferences workshops and backstage tours are also offered prior to the conference.  CITT's Rendez-vous is also the occasion for the CITT Annual General Meeting, as well as the CITT Awards Banquet, where members honours individuals and organizations who have excelled in their field of live performance in Canada.

CITT ANNUAL TRADE SHOW
Every year, the CITT Trade Show visits a different Canadian city to highlight products and services from manufacturers, suppliers, businesses in the live performance and entertainment industry. With over 30 exhibitors from Canada and the United States attending, the Trade Show is a great opportunity to showcase the newest and best products and services to the Canadian market.

London Convention Centre 

The conference's main corporate events all happen on Friday August 18, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the London Convention Centre and will feature the following events:
  • New Product Unplugged Breakfast: Exhibitors take centre stage to showcase their latest product or service to the conference delegates prior to the Trade Show
  • Corporate BBQ Luncheon: Come and enjoy a wonderful BBQ outside the venue (weather permitting) and mingle with the delegates before they hit the trade show floor.
  • CITT Trade Show: Located in the heart of the city, the London Convention Centre is the hosting venue of CITT's 22nd Annual Trade Show on Friday 17 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
  • Swag and donations for Swag Bingo: Of course, the conference wouldn't be complete without CITT's legendary Swag Bingo and its Live & Silent Auction fun-raising happening on Friday night, right after the trade show. So bring your company swag to this zany bingo party, it will be distributed to the bingo winners! We also accept gift donations for our live and silent auction that will take place during the evening. You can ship or bring your swag and auction donations at your booth, a volunteer will pick it up or you can leave it at the CITT registration desk at the trade show venue before 1:00 p.m. on Friday August 17.
Add more fun to your stay by joining the conference delegates at the Junk Challenge on Thursday night August 16 at the Grand Theatre's McManus studio theatre. The evening offers a fun ice-breaking event that will challenge the cool technical and creative skills of the delegates.  On Wednesday night August 15, all the members are invited to the Newcomer Meet & Greet at the Grand Theatre foyer to welcome new delegates and see familiar faces.

You are also invited to join us during Forum Day on Thursday August 16, comprise of Education Forum, which offers an opportunity to discuss issues, techniques and results as they relate to educational training programs that prepare students to work in the live performance industry, and the Roadhouse Roundtable discussions, which offers an opportunity to discuss issues, techniques and results as they relate to the presenting of live performances on stage.

Stay an extra day and take in some of the Professional Development sessions on Saturday August 18,  presented by our industries experts, or if you have a product or service you wish to showcase, then reserve a dedicated timeslot for your exclusive Informercial.  The conference wraps up on Saturday night with CITT's Awards Banquet and Closing Party.

TRAVEL & CONFERENCE HOTEL
Air Canada is the official Canadian airline for the event. Delegates can obtain a 10% discount on the all Tango Plus, Latitude, Business and First Class reservations (does not apply to Tango fare). VIA Rail also offers discounts to conference delegates.
The London Hilton, across the street of the London Convention Centre, is the hotel conference and offers a preferred rate for the duration of the conference.
