Day One (May 7, 2011):
Morning: Overview of video technology options available, including practical information and relevant technical specifications for each option, including:
★ What’s the gear and what does it do?
★ Combining and routing different signal formats using a switcher, scan convertor, scaler or matrix
★ Maintaining the best picture quality throughout your projection system
★ Getting to know your projector.
Afternoon: Video component and systems applications, including latest trends, production planning, considerations and cost factors, including:
★ An introduction to media servers
★ Converging multiple projectors to create a single wide format image.
★ Mapping images onto 3D surfaces
★ Handling HD content.
Day Two (May 8, 2011):
Morning: Media Servers from a design perspective, options, applications and considerations, including:
★ mapping projections to scenery, dealing with keystoning
★ creating multiple effect windows
★ controlling different media content
★ System design and layout
Afternoon: Multimedia content design from the designer and directors perspective, including:
★ Manipulating still images within windows
★ Combining video with still images
★ Effects and distortions
★ Is multi media enhancing or hampering the production?
