Job Description / Duties

Canada’s Ballet Jörgen is seeking a Wardrobe Supervisor for its 2018 - 19 Touring Season for their theatrical events throughout the season with tours in Western Canada, Eastern Canada, and Ontario with one US date.
Position starts mid October 2018.

Qualifications / Required Skills

The Wardrobe Supervisor will have good knowledge of repairing and cleaning techniques, proven skills as a qualified seamstress in a professional setting and prior theatre/costume experience. Knowledge of wig maintenance would be an asset.
A valid driver’s license is essential. Duties will also include driving production vehicles including a cube van.
Must have a valid passport.
The Wardrobe Supervisor will be self-motivated, able to work independently while also being a part of a small team and possess good organizational and time management skills.
Bilingual (French & English) both written and spoken would be an asset.

Canada’s Ballet Jörgen will be touring "Coppelia" to western Canada and eastern Canada with a few dates in Ontario and the States, “Nutcracker” in Saskatchewan and Ontario and "Velveteen Rabbit" to eastern Canada.

Salary: approx $860/week based on qualifications and experience
