The Gros Morne Theatre Festival is currently seeking resumes in the following technical areas:
Technical Direction Stage Carpentry/Crew Chief
Props Scenic Paint
Sound Sound Design
Wardrobe Costume Design
Stage Management (non-Equity)
Some positions may be combined if feasible, so a variety of skills is an asset.
A valid driver’s license(equivalent to a Newfoundland Class 5) is an asset.
A valid driver's license (equivalent to a Newfoundland Class 4)would be a definite asset.
The position of Technical Director requires 3-5 years experience.
All other postions require 1-3 years experience.
The salary for all positions will commensurate with experience.
The Festival’s season is May to September, but contract dates may vary.
The Festival provides return travel (by most economical method) for successful applicants.
The Festival provides shared housing (with a housing fee/damage deposit) in the community for company members.
This May, Theatre Newfoundland Labrador/Gros Morne Theatre Festival will host the annual PACT Conference in Cow Head.

Theatre Newfoundland and Labrador (TNL) is a not-for-profit, charitable organization dedicated to creating and producing professional theatre which reflects the lives and diversity of our audiences on the province’s west coast, extending to Labrador and across the island of Newfoundland. The Gros Morne Theatre Festival is a summer theatre festival operated by Theatre Newfoundland Labrador. For its 2010 season, the Festival will produce a six plays – 3 mainstage shows, 2 second stage shows, and 1 outdoor family show.
The Gros Morne Theatre Festival is located in the seaside community of Cow Head, Newfoundland and Labrador, which is situated in the spectacular Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
