With our expansion we are looking for a Production Coordinator and Set Decor and Props Coordinator.

Responsibilities Include: 
Working with the set designer and set decor departments, set construction and builds 

Assist in other production areas including decor, props and stage crew 

Assist with Light Hangs 

Coordinate multiple projects and their resources and deadlines at the same time. 

Work with the team to create and manage Standard Operating Procedures and systems. 
Responsibilities Include: 
The set decorator is the head of the set decoration department responsible for selecting, designing, fabricating, and sourcing the "set dressing" elements of each set in support of the story and characters of the script. The set decorator is responsible for each décor element inside the sets, from practical lighting, technology, art, furniture, drapery, floor coverings, books, collectables, to exterior furnishings 
Wallpapering and painting experience required

The Props Corodinator provides and designs all elements that are handled by the actor.

Create a props inventory and maintain throughout the season 

Collaborate with Stage Manager and Production Co ordinator

Qualifications / Required Skills

A recent graduate from a theatre production program or 2 years practical experience

Additional Information

Responsibilities Include: 
Must be technically savvy – especially with a Mac and Mac products. 

Must be a Type A person who can help run the show 

Must love learning new skills and and be able to do it quickly. 

Must be resourceful 

Must be able to manage stress well and tight deadlines. 

Works very well with other people and can build rapport with team members 

High attention to detail. 

Can handle direct and blunt feedback. 

Is self-motivated. 

Can juggle lots of moving pieces while staying collected. 

Adapts really well to changes on the go. 

Is not afraid of new challenges. 

High functioning communication skills. Not afraid to pick up the phone to get things done. Can talk to anyone and communicates clearly and concisely. 


Salary: Based on Experience: $31,200 starting / 2 weeks paid vacation/comprehensive Benefits plan

Kelowna Actors Studio is located in beautiful, Kelowna, British Columbia.

Our MainStage theatre offers approximately 11,000 square feet; a 230-seat theatre including 91 dinner seats with full table service, mirrored rehearsal/dance studio; kitchen, licensed bar and a general office area.

We recently opened our second space ‘ The WorkRoom’ which is our set and costume workshops; Kelowna Tickets, an 80 seat black box, administration offices and lobby/piano lounge.
