Job Description / Duties

Vertigo Theatre seeks an individual for the position of Production Apprentice. Reporting to the Production and Facility Manger, the Production Apprentice will be exposed to all the aspects it takes to produce a professional production. The experience will be highly varied and can include everything from participating in lighting hangs, acting as production driver/buyer, props building/sourcing, running crew, and wardrobe.

Qualifications / Required Skills

The successful candidate shall be a highly motivated individual who has a keen interest in developing their skills in theatrical production. This position would be well suited to a recent graduate of theatre school or someone with a technical or production background.

Additional Information

This is a permanent full time seasonal position with a preferred start date of August 10. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience. Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest and resume before June 24 to Scott Reid, Production & Facility Manager at
