Job Description / Duties

The General Manager reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the following areas of management:

Reporting and responding to the Board, especially in respect to its mandate, budget, and short and long-term goals

Overseeing all Theatre operations, including staffing, programming, securing sponsorships, and working with a budget

Supervising staff and volunteers to ensure Theatre events run smoothly and efficiently

Qualifications / Required Skills

Minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to prepare and maintain budgets and control costs
Experience with sponsorship agreements
Experience with Excel
A background in community owned and operated institutions
An enthusiasm for the performing arts
