Best practices for producing, design, and production for racially diverse castsRoundtable Discussion Presented by Associated Designers of Canada |
Producing, design, and production, all require different approaches when racial diversity is factored. In conjunction with Training the Eye, ADC presents a round table discussion exploring big picture budgeting and scheduling implications of diversifying programming and performers on our stages. Topics include: budgeting at the grant phase; thoughtful approaches to staging and scheduling additional time requirements; industry (community?) skills upgrading, and union practices around special skills. After attending this presentation, attendees will have a better understanding of budgeting, staging, and scheduling requirements to support diverse casting. |
