Job Description / Duties

The successful candidate for this full time faculty position will teach a selection of courses in the Theatre Production Program relating to Production Management and other areas within the technical production fields. He/she will assume responsibilities as a Production Manager for our production activities and mentor students in this areas. He/she will serve as the liaison for other department mentors and production guest artists. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for working with the coordinator to assist in curriculum development and delivery, manage the academic and production schedules, student’s requests, and on-going student career counseling.

Qualifications / Required Skills

The successful candidate will possess a post-secondary degree in theatre (Masters preferred) as well as have a minimum of three years teaching experience in a post-secondary institution. He/she must have at least 5 years of professional industry experience working with original and/or devised creations, and will model exceptional collaboration and communication skills within a creative process.
