ETC Eos for Designers

Educational Session

Gain familiarity with the tools already on your tech table in your EOS console to speed up programming and dial in the details. We'll get into working with referenced data, colour tools, effects, timing parameters, multipart cues, and more. This presentation is for folks with basic EOS programming skills, lighting designers who have experience in legacy systems, and people who are new to working with LEDs and multi-parameter fixtures.

After attending this presentation, attendees will understand how to recall and modify referenced data such as palettes and presets. Gain some understanding why it seems like your colour picker is lying to you, and how to use EOS's spectrum tools to dial in the colour you really want. How to use colour path, discrete timing and multi-part cues for elegant transitions. Make quick, complex channel selection with groups and offsets. How to make quick linear and absolute effects, working with stock effects, and different ways to modify and store effects.
