Mervon Mehta, Executive and Artistic Director of Performing Arts, The Royal Conservatory of Music
Mervon Mehta has led programming and managed concert halls and Performing Arts Centres for 30 years in Canada and the US. For the past 12 years, he has been Executive and Artistic Director of Performing Arts at The Royal Conservatory in Toronto. Programming in the RCM's Koerner Hall includes 100+ concerts per year of jazz, classical, world, roots music and a film series. Koerner Hall has a focus on International and Canadian artists & composers and a diverse array of emerging artists from all disciplines.
Harvey Cohen, Vice-President of Talent, Live Nation Canada
As Vice-President of Talent for Live Nation Canada, Harvey produces touring shows and festivals for the world’s largest entertainment company. Harvey was Co-Founder of Union Events, which grew to become Canada’s largest independent concert promoter and one of the 50 largest in the world, prior to being acquired by Live Nation in a high profile acquisition in early 2016. Harvey has been responsible for the curation of talent for a number of North America’s premiere music festivals including Chasing Summer Music Festival, Center of Gravity Sports & Music Festival, X-Fest, Sonic Boom, One Love Music Festival and more. Jennifer Johnson, Vice President, Programming, Arts Commons
As Vice President, Programming, Jennifer worked in various stage and administrative arts roles in Alberta before joining Arts Commons in 2003. She is an active member of multiple arts service organizations including past Treasurer on the board of directors for the Association of Performing Arts Professionals. With a wide breadth of experience under her belt, Jennifer has exponentially grown Arts Commons presenting and the programming department. With the support of the organization and an amazing programming team, she has developed new presentation series, created avenues to support local artists, connected international artists with community, expanded visual and media arts galleries and exhibitions, and fostered a robust education portfolio serving over 10,500 students annually. Daniel Glick, Director of Concerts & Events, evenko
Following the completion of his Bachelor of Commerce at Concordia University, Daniel Glick launched a career in the music industry booking and promoting some of Canada's favorite festivals and concerts. As Senior Director of Concerts & Events at evenko, Daniel has been programming and promoting large scale events since 1998. evenko plays host to the biggest entertainers in the world and invests in the development and promotion of local and international artists in the Quebec market. evenko is the creator and producer of: OSHEAGA Music and Arts Festival, îLESONIQ, '77 MONTRÉAL, HEAVY MONTRÉAL & Festival YUL EAT.
