Job Description / Duties

This role will be the lead for A/V system programming, UI design, DSP configuration, and assist with network design and topology.

The role involves a level of autonomy, with the candidate managing work loads within assigned deadlines, working with Project Managers to ensure all projects are delivered promptly and with high levels of integrity. Working within client requirements, the programmer will design and implement functional and attractive user interfaces. Ease of use, and accessibility are at the forefront of our design principles.

With our national presence, travel will be required. The role will be based in the Greater Toronto Area, or the National Capital Region.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Experience and certifications with Crestron/AMX/Extron Controls systems
Experience and certifications with Q-SYS, BSS, Extron, Biamp Audio DSPs
Experience and certifications with Cisco and Polycom VC codecs
Experience with digital signage platforms and content delivery networks.
Skilled in the loading and debugging of Crestron, AMX, Extron control code and user interfaces
Knowledge of audio tuning and AEC configurations for challenging spaces using smart measurements and industry tools.
Knowledge in IP networking layout/design and configurations
Extensive knowledge of RS232/422/485 and IP control protocols
Experience in fiber optic installations & management and configurations
Multi-platform experience in MAC/PC
Experience in digital video transplant & image
HD BasedT certification a must
Video over IP certification a must
Graphic editing software a must
Proficient in AutoCAD
Excellent customer facing and communication skills

Salary: 60,000 - TBD (Based on Experience)
