Reporting directly to the department’s Supervisor, the technician must prepare and test equipment to be used on rentals and productions.
•With the cooperation of the Shop Technicians and according to the Event order accurately prepare the equipment;
•Ensure all required accessories to operate the equipment are included (wiring, adapters, PSUs, hardware, remote control etc.);
•Perform tests in order to make sure the equipment works well;
•Clean and conduct a visual inspection of the equipment;
•Upgrade the items (cleaning, firmware)
•Follow the quality and preparation standards of the company;
•All other related tasks.
•Diploma/Certificate or relevant work experience;
•Experience testing and operating audio equipment;
•Sound treatment and design experience is an asset;
•RF knowledge is an asset;
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position;
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment and able to manage priorities;
•Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change;
•Team work oriented and collaborative;
•Resourcefulness and autonomy;
•Able to lift heavy loads;
•Show flexibility in working schedule;
•Valid forklift driver’s licence (an asset);
•Bilingual; French/English (an asset)
•Highly developed organisation skills and attention to detail;
