Job Description / Duties
Our next ERD-certified Pyrotechnics Safety & Legal Awareness course is on SATURDAY November 29, 2025, from 10AM to 5PM EST
This course is the mandatory first step for Certification as a Pyrotechnician in Canada.
Our courses are ERD-certified and conducted over Zoom.
This allows folks from Vancouver to St. John's and everywhere in between to participate.

The course costs $250 + HST ($282.50)

Mark Fine founded AIRMAGIC SPECIAL EFFECTS in 1988 and grew it for 32 years. It was sold in 2020. GUNSMOKE CANADA was started in 2020 and is his new adventure.
Mark has been in the Special Effects business for almost 40 years. Mark worked with ERD since the Pyro certification program began in the 1990's.
In 2014 Mark became ERD's first certified private sector trainer.
In 2020 ERD started to allow virtual courses.
