Reporting directly to the Technical Director, responsibilities may include but are not limited to: the safe and efficient set up and strike of all theatre equipment on touring sites including raised staging, lighting and audio equipment and front-of-house apparatus; the maintenance of theatrical touring gear; may be required to operate a motor vehicle licensed to the theatre company; may be required to operate a lighting or sound console for the theatre company. Approximately 11 days of overnight touring, mostly returning to/from Toronto.
The successful candidate will have a variety of technical theatre experience (especially an aptitude for live audio mixing/RF experience) possess a professional, hardworking, outgoing and personable disposition; a valid class G driver’s licence an asset; with excellent communication skills, and a passion for the theatre.
