After the Run
Duties include some, or all of the following:
-- collecting costumes and accessories after the final show
-- trips to the dry cleaner
-- laundering costumes
--returning borrowed/rented costumes & accessories
--create worksheets for dressing lists, show notes, and costume checks.
--distribute costumes and related equipment, and keep records of item status.
--examine costume fit on cast members, and sketch or write notes for alterations.
-- inventory stock in order to determine types and conditions of available costuming.
--Monitor, maintain, and secure inventories of costumes, wigs, and makeup, providing keys or access to assigned directors, costume designers, and wardrobe mistresses/masters.
--Return borrowed or rented items when productions are complete and return other items to storage. --Care for non-clothing items such as flags, table skirts, and draperies.
A degree or training in Wardrobe combined with 3 to 5 years of related experience is required
The willingness and ability to travel to Germany in September is required.
The start date for this position is immediate and continues until the end of the tour to Germany on September 17th, with the possibility for work to continue on a part time basis in the fall as part of a tour of Atlantic Canada.
Travel and accommodation in Moncton and Germany will be provided
