Centre culturel Frontenac welcomes between 12 to 15 shows per year.
The venue is also rented by local clients, approximatively 20 productions per year. Finally the center shares the building with a secondary school that produces 15 events per year.
Audio Engineering for a wide variety of performances and events;
Theatrical lighting design and understanding detailed lighting;
Video and Projection techniques for various applications;
Prioritizing maintenance needs and preforming routine maintenance of equipment;
Training of other technical staff and volunteers;
Advancing incoming shows and assuring the technical needs of artists and performers are met;
Collaboration with educators and students;
Recommendations on technical purchases and investments;
Some building maintenance and cleaning duties;
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French (an asset);
5+ years audio engineering experience ;
Proficient use of analog and digital audio equipment and recording techniques;
Expertise in use of conventional and modern lighting fixtures and lighting equipment;
Works well under pressure and tight deadlines;
Friendly, personable and provides excellent customer service;
Excellent ability with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office;
HOURS PER WEEK:30 hours

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Technical director will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the theatre’s operation, including audio mixing for concerts, lighting design, video and projection.
The Technical director is responsible for communication and collaboration with clients renting the facility, artists and management for annual programming of Le Centre culturel Frontenac, and the technical needs of the events hosted by the adjoining high school.
