The successful candidate will teach courses in stage management and other courses in her or his area of expertise. Supervision of student technical crews, and responsibility for safety and equipment coordination are assigned to this position.
Applicants should possess a terminal degree in theatre/dramatic arts, or a combination of practical experience and exceptional teaching. Professional experience in theatre stage management and other areas of technical theatre are required. Experience with post-secondary institutions is an asset. The University aspires to hire individuals who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and creative activity, and have the potential to contribute actively to the Department of Theatre & Dramatic Arts and the Faculty of the Fine Arts.

The Department of Theatre & Dramatic Arts at the University of Lethbridge invites applications for a 2-year term appointment (9 months per year) in Stage Management and Production, at the rank of Instructor, starting August 1, 2014, subject to budgetary and Board approval.
