Pacific Opera Victoria (POV) is seeking an Equity Assistant Stage Manager to join its production team for the 2018-2019 Season. The successful applicant will be joining a resident production and stage management team in a vibrant and dynamic company that produces a diverse repertoire through innovative original productions. This position includes one engagement: Fidelio (Beethoven): September 14 to October 21, 2018
The ideal candidate will have confidence in stage management systems, be proficient in reading music, and demonstrate key leadership and organizational skills in an Equity, AFM and IATSE working environment. Applicants should have experience working in opera or musical theatre, and be a team player who demonstrates a keen interest in building positive relationships with artists, production and music staff.
This position shall be engaged under the auspices of The Opera Agreement, Canadian Actors’ Equity Association.
