Job Description / Duties

Reporting to the Director of Operations:

- Assist with preparing, shipping, receiving orders to ensure accuracy and conform to our standards
- Loading & Unloading Trucks
- Execute equipment turnover between shows during/outside of regular business hours
- Provide assistance with specific projects as required;
- Equipment testing, maintenance & basic repairs
- Assist with the preparation of inventory reports
- General Warehouse Upkeep & organization
- Sweeping, Garbages, Building Racks etc
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment

- Perform deliveries and pick-ups as required by the company in a safe and timely manner
- Assist with loading & unloading trucks
- Plan your trips beforehand
- Loading location and instructions
- Onsite contact(s)
- Road closures, weather, construction etc
- Any specific instructions
- Communicate all pertinent information to dispatch (i.e. – time delays, truck issues etc)
- Ensure truck packs are packaged and secured safely
- Ensure trucks always have gas, wiper fluid, DEF and sufficient truck inspection forms etc
- Always respect company truck policies and obey all moving and parking laws

- Assist with the set-up and dismantle of audiovisual equipment
- Ability to problem solve and work respectfully alongside venues, suppliers & clients
- Possess knowledge of our equipment and its packaging
- Basic troubleshooting of equipment
- Ability to follow floor plans and show instructions
- Demonstrate leadership & initiative

Qualifications / Required Skills

- Communicate with clarity and precision via written and oral means
- Work under pressure and strict deadlines
- Adapt to changing priorities
- Follow instructions in various formats (Written, Oral, Diagram or Schedule Form)
- Receive tasks and follow through to completion
- Pay close attention to detail
- General knowledge of the roads around the GTA

- Valid “G” Ontario Driver’s License & A Clean Record
- Comfortable driving trucks up to 26 Feet
- Capable of Lifting Up To 50 Pounds
- Punctual & Reliable
- Minimum Two years of experience in warehouse operations and/or driving.
- Basic comprehension of Audio/Visual Equipment
- Understand and obey company policies, procedures and processes
- Forklift License an asset

Additional Information

Immediate start date.

This position requires the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends and holidays.
