Collective Bargaining is one of the most important, yet elusive, aspects of production management. Our collective agreements impact almost everything we do, and yet it’s incredibly difficult to gain experience in negotiations without actually negotiating a contract.In this session, participants will be randomly assigned to a side, and participate in the process of negotiating a collective agreement.

The goal is to ensure participants walk away with a greater understanding of the process and the reality of sitting at the table.

Everyone will have the opportunity to participate in the action, to take a stand on an issue, and to try to find the middle ground. Be prepared to get creative, dive into the details, and sweat it out. All parties and affiliations are welcome to join, a diversity of viewpoints is essential to the success of this session.
