Immersive Tools for Musical Theatre Sound Design: An Introduction & Live Demonstration of Spacemap Go

Immersive technology is not a new concept for Meyer Sound. Starting from the earlier days in Las Vegas with shows like Cirque du Soleil's Mystère, to more recent large-scale multichannel theatrical productions featured on Broadway, Meyer Sound's technology has been the heart of spatial sound design for over 25 years. More recently, the world of theatre sound design has significantly evolved with the introduction of advanced DSP processing and new, creative ways to integrate between technology platforms. Join GerrAudio as we introduce Meyer Sound's latest immersive mix platform, Spacemap Go, and demonstrate how easy it is to deploy Spacemap Go with any new or pre-existing loudspeaker configuration/setup.
Moderator: Russel Martin, CITT/ICTS Director at large

During this time, she continued to develop and demonstrate her own software for multichannel live sound production she calls ISSP, or Immersive Sound System Panning, which she used at several live events sponsored by SoundGirls, first at sound:check Xpo 2019 in Mexico City and later that year at the AES convention in New York. Ianina initially developed ISSP while earning her Master of Science in Audio Engineering from Leeds Beckett University. She also holds dual bachelor’s degrees (Audiovisual Technology, Sound and Recording) from the National University of Lanús in Argentina.
