What's New > Call For Nominations CITT/ICTS National Board
At the 2020 CITT/ICTS Annual General Meeting, the terms of four CITT/ICTS National Board members will end. Al Cushing and Paul Del Motte will be seeking re-election to a second term, John Raymond will have completed his 3 terms and Eric Pells will not be standing for re-election. We thank both of them for their considerable service and commitment to the National Board.
The CITT/ICTS calls for additional Nominations to the National Board
The intent and purpose of the Board is, on behalf of all the members of CITT/ICTS, to guarantee the accountability of CITT/ICTS to those members and to the live performance industry at large by assuring that it (a) achieves appropriate results for the appropriate persons at an appropriate cost and (b) avoids unacceptable activities, conditions and decisions. A National Board Member is entitled to a vote on all matters brought to the CITT/ICTS Board.
The CITT/ICTS seeks to ensure that the full diversity of the membership is represented on the National Board and encourages nominations for individuals that would enrich the diversity (e.g: race, gender, location, language, occupation) of the Board of Directors. Prospective board members must have been a CITT/ICTS member for at least one year as of January of the year of their nomination and cannot serve as a Regional Section Board member during their term. For more information on the Election of Board Directors, please refer to page 16 of the CITT/ICTS by-laws.
Membership of the board does require a time commitment to attend meetings at least 3 times a year, either online or in person, and to perform the work of any sub-committees that the board member may be on. For an informal discussion of the details of this time commitment, or for any other questions regarding possible nominations, members can contact the Chair of the Nomination Committee Matt Frankish at nominations@citt.org
Nominations may be submitted between 01 September and 31 December of each year at the following link.
If there is more than one nomination for a vacancy, duly nominated candidates will be presented to the Membership for voting ninety (90) days before the AGM, with the results of the election announced at the 2020 AGM in London, Ontario in August 2020.
Best regards,
Matt Frankish, President-Elect
Nomination Committee Chair
