As a swell of revelations across our country call out the systematic and pervasive existence of sexual harassment, harassment, violence and discrimination in workplaces throughout our industry, the CITT/ICTS board of directors adds its voice to our sister organisations in denouncing improper conduct and behaviour, and in recognizing an urgent need to collectively prevent incidents of harassment and violence, respond effectively to these incidents when they do occur; and support victims, survivors and employers in the process.

As a national arts service organisation, we are committed to ensuring leadership in developing a safe space for all cultural workers, in strengthening and enforcing our harassment policy and code of conduct, and engaging in providing appropriate tools, resources and support to those that require it.

We are a people industry, and the well-being, health and safety of those people is and should always be our priority.
