Job Description / Duties

Position Summary
The Workforce Coordinator is responsible for scheduling labour for events, managing contractor information, and assisting with recruiting and onboarding of contractors. They will oversee and provide organization-wide support for labour services, and assist with the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures.

This position is comprised of an average 40-hour work week with the expectation that hours will be flexible and overtime may occur. This position is based out of the EPiQVision Main Office and is in-person/onsite.

Job Duties

Labour Scheduling
- Schedule labour using Lasso Crew Management Software
- Collaborate with Freelance and 3rd party labour resources and maintain relationships with those parties
- Ensure all labour position requests are appropriately and adequately staffed for exceptional event execution
- Be fluent in all functions of Lasso Crew Management Software in order to provide organization-wide support
- Adhere to all legislative requirements surrounding scheduling and workforce

Administration
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and complete technician and contractor personnel records
- Document and track incidents, provide solutions for improvements, and identify opportunities to update or create policies and procedures
- Maintain strong working knowledge of all EPiQVision software systems

Recruiting & Training
- Participate in the evaluation and onboarding of technicians and contractors

General
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Comply with company, industry, and legislative health & safety policies, procedures, standards, and best practices
- Inform your assigned manager of any event emergencies, set backs, unresolved issues, and last minute client requests
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times
- Maintain a cooperative and sensitive teamwork attitude when dealing with others
- Other duties as required by company

Qualifications / Required Skills

Requirements
- Post-secondary education in event production, event management, administration, or equivalent training is preferred
- 1+ years of experience with labour scheduling or related experience
- 1+ years of experience in a supervisory or management position
- Live events industry experience is an asset
- Knowledge of audio-visual equipment in a live event environment is an asset
- Proficiency with the use of computer hardware, software, and programs, including the Internet, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
- Ability to communicate orally and written at a professional working proficiency level or greater in the English language
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Experience using Flex Rental Solutions software is an asset
- Knowledge and experience of Lasso Crew Management Software is an asset
- Knowledge of current workplace health & safety regulations, fire & building codes, and AODA regulations in relation to the live entertainment industry is an asset

Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 annual salary, based on experience
