Job Description / Duties

EPiQVision Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Warehouse Manager who, under the direction of the Director of Operations, will primarily be responsible for managing the warehouse’s overall day to day operations, shipping and receiving, labour scheduling and supervision, purchase orders, rental orders, and health and safety compliance and organization.

This person will be working at the company's main warehouse in Toronto and working alongside the EPiQVision warehouse and operations teams. This person must be self-motivated, open-minded, creative, detail-oriented, have a strong understanding and interest in technology.

- Manage daily operations for warehouse
- Schedule and manage all department heads and warehouse workers
- Supervise department heads
- Track all labour costs for P&L
- Ensure proper breaks and schedules are followed and enforced for all warehouse workers
- Manage unreturned equipment reports
- Create and manage company purchase orders
- Create and manage rental purchase orders for specific events
- Assist venue Operations Managers with rental purchase orders
- Create and manage warehouse tasks lists for events, logistics, and warehouse duties with appropriate timelines
- Maintain a strong system of organization and oversee the maintenance of all warehouse items
- Schedule training for warehouse staff
- Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly warehouse budgets and new equipment inquiries
- Build strong internal relationships between the company and its vendors
- Manage and enforce health & safety for warehouse
- Ensure that inspection forms and daily reports are completed and submitted
- Attend weekly operations meetings
- Manage weekly warehouse meetings with department heads
- Conference regularly with the Logistics Manager regarding all trucking
- Meet with warehouse staff monthly to discuss their performance and progress
- Assist with finding creative ways to improve warehouse operations

Qualifications / Required Skills

- Post-secondary education in event production, warehouse management, or equivalent training
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management, production management, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of lighting, audio, video, staging, and rigging equipment
- Extensive experience creating schedules and managing teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Flexible customer service oriented attitude with a commitment to supporting a variety of events
- Diplomatic written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills with vendors
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- CAD experience and skills is an asset
- Knowledge and experience of Flex Rental Solutions is an asset
- Working at Heights and Lift Certification and training is an asset
- Knowledge of current Safety Guidelines for the Live Performance Industry in Ontario is an asset
- Knowledge of current municipal, provincial, and federal workplace health & safety regulations is an asset
- Knowledge of current Fire and Building Codes is an asset
- Knowledge of current ESA, AODA, OHSA is an asset
- Forklift license is an asset
- Valid driver's license and vehicle is an asset
- Truck driving experience is an asset
