Job Description / Duties

Warehouse Coordinator - Props
Warehouse Coordinator - Costume

These positions will report to the Head of Props and the Costume Director and are part of the Production Department team. The Warehouse Coordinators are responsible for working together to maintain and coordinate the rental and non-rental Costume and Prop stock items for the Stratford Festival’s Warehouse. This customer service based position involves lifting, packing, climbing and shipping of Costumes and Props.

Responsibilities:
• These positions will work together to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of all aspects relating to the Costume and Props Warehouse
• Schedule appointments for in person Costume and Props pulls and video viewings for both internal and external rentals
• Completion of all necessary paperwork including: invoicing, payment of rental fees and submitting rental reports to various departments
• Enforce COVID safety protocols for all rentals
• Coordinate shipping of rentals to and from the warehouse
• Restock inventory by updating digital rental tracking and re-shelving returned items
• Assist in maintaining current Props Inventory in SharePoint Program: Photograph Props Rentals and Props for data entry
• Manual materials handling of Costumes and Props up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Qualifications:
• Knowledge of costume and art history is required
• Experience with customs paperwork an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• Computer experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Video Conference platforms, along with the ability to learn new computer programs
• Ability to multi-task within a fast paced work environment
• Experience working with ladders – portable and stationary
• Experience lifting, bending, pushing and pulling materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Art History and Costume History.

Additional Information

This full time seasonal contract position is located in Stratford, Ontario and will begin November 29, 2021 until October 29 2022. Candidates must be available to work onsite in Stratford Ontario for the duration of the contract.

Salary: $45,000 - $54,000
