Job Description / Duties

The Kelowna Community Theatre (KCT) delights audiences with over 250 bookings a year ranging from comedy to music, dance, theatrical performances and everything in between. With over 100,000 guests each year, the KCT continually brings life, art and music to the stage for all ages with our state of the art sound, lighting and stage systems.
Bring your knowledge, leadership skill and experience to ensure the professional operation and oversight of all technical operations at the Kelowna Community Theatre. As our Theatre Technician, you will provide advice on the technical requirements for each show and be experienced in setting up and running theatre lighting, sound, video, rigging systems and stage facilities. Bring your strong interpersonal skills and problem solving ability to work cooperatively with clients and staff and provide quality customer service.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Technical Theatre Post-Secondary Certificate or equivalent along with extensive technical theatre experience. Strong computer skills are required. A Live Performance Electrical Certificate and proficiency with Vectorworks would be an asset.
