Reporting to the Monument-National (M-N) Campus Operations Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the planning and smooth running of all technical and administrative operations at the M-N Campus during the summer. Activities will focus primarily on technical coordination of the School's external rentals, as well as technical support for events.

Temporary contract for approximately 6 months from March to August 2024.

Qualifications / Required Skills

- Advise, guide, and participate in the evaluation of the technical, operational, and budgetary feasibility of the various productions.
- Plan and communicate work schedules and assignments of technical teams required for productions, based on contract terms and production data sheets.
- Ensure the smooth running and technical supervision of productions.
- Participate in event set-up and strike operations.
- Foster synergy between the various teams working on production projects..
- Ensure compliance with M-N health and safety regulations.
- Maintain full customer satisfaction.
- Management and administration
- Plan, manage and maintain technical and stage equipment at M-N and Saint-Denis Campus.
- Participate in weekly production meetings for corporate events.
- Prepare and update technical documentation for performance venues.
- Maintain an overall perspective and ensure proper planning of the entire summer season's productions.
- Manage the technical operations budget responsibly and proactively.
- Plan the required technical teams for events, identify the required technicians and schedules for set-up, event and strike, as well as the administrative management of the team (payroll, time sheets).
- Other related tasks may be added to this description.

Profile

- Degree in stage production or equivalent experience..
- Current knowledge of all health and safety regulations.
- Working in a co-lingual environment, we require excellent communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written.
- Inspirational leadership and teamwork skills..
- Good electrical, lighting, sound, video and rigging skills.
- Ability to read external clients' venue plans.
- General knowledge of Microsoft 365.

Salary: Salary between $35 and $45 per hour.
