Job - McMaster University
Schedule 35 hours per week - Seasonal

Initial seasonal contract 8 month but could be normalised.
We are currently seeking a Senior Performance Technician (Co-Technical Director) who will oversee and facilitate all technical components for venues and spaces managed by the department. They would also participate in the pedagogical support of undergraduate and graduate artistic research by operating as technical resource expert to instructors, researchers, guest artists, presenters, and students. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in lighting, sound and video technology as it is applied to the performing arts.

Qualifications / Required Skills

BA or BFA theatre or applicable experience
4+ years experience as venue technician within a performance context.
Supervisory experience
Previous experience with youth or within educational setting

Salary: Hourly Rate $27.88 to 43.09 depending on experience
