Job Description / Duties

Would you like to continue to work in the entertainment industry, but finally benefit from more stability and year-round employment? Would you like to have a permanent position and all the benefits that come with it, while continuing to increase your experience in the industry?

We have a job for you.

Our after-sales service department provides user training and inspection services to our stage-owning customers in over 50 countries. To meet the growing demand, we are expanding our team of on-the-road technicians.

By joining the #StagelineFam as an on-the-road technician:
• You will start off by doing a few months of training at our facility in L’Assomption, after which you will have to pack your bags for the real adventure!
• You will train users on theoretical and practical aspects and determine whether they are ready to become certified Stageline stage operators.
• You will perform inspections on equipment to confirm that it is safe to use.
• You will travel mainly across Canada and the United States (but also around the world!), with all accommodations and travel expenses covered!
• You will be eligible for our range of benefits, including insurance (life, disability, health, and dental), a group RRSP with employer contribution, an EFAP and telemedicine.
• You will be fully trained by our team, and you will become an expert in Stageline products.
• You will have a concrete impact on our brand’s reach at the international level.

You are the person we are looking for if:
• You have been working in the entertainment industry for several years as a technician, instructor or rigger, which has made you very knowledgeable about the industry and has allowed you to develop your manual skills.
• Your English language skills are impeccable, and you have excellent communication skills (written and oral) that will allow you to provide training that meets our clients’ expectations.
• You enjoy living out of a suitcase and going on trips that last a number of days or weeks.
• You have developed leadership skills, strong learning skills and resourcefulness that are foolproof in allowing you to navigate the industry.
• You are independent, have strong technical skills and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Do you want to take part in this great adventure? It’s time for you to take the stage.
Come and showcase your talent with us!

Salary: Around 25$/hr with various bonuses
