Job Description / Duties

The Arts Touring Alliance of Alberta is looking for an Office Administrator to support the Executive Director in advocating, promoting, and supporting the touring arts sector in Alberta. This position is for someone creative, team-spirited, technologically savvy with strong communication and marketing skills, and an appreciation for the performing arts industry in Canada. This hybrid position requires the successful candidate to work a few days per week at the ATAA office in Edmonton.

Areas of Responsibility

Membership Services
• Manage correspondence with Arts Touring Alliance membership
• Field member inquiries,
• Distribute special event information
• Maintain membership database

Communications
• Compile and distribute monthly e-newsletters
• Manage social platforms
• Coordinate virtual meetings
• Update and maintain website
• Monitor analytics and create reports

Event Coordination
• Using Adobe Creative Suite, compile and design conference program, professional development brochures, signage, and reports.
• Act as ATAA’s liaison for artist application process, coordinate logistics for selection process
• Maintain delegate and other registration lists
• On-site coordination of event logistics

Qualifications / Required Skills

Requirements:
• 2+ years relevant employment experience in office administrative support and communications.
• Strong skills are mandatory in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail to submit work or send communications without error.
• Knowledge of marketing software such as MailChimp & Survey Monkey
• Superior time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Salary: $20,000 - $25,000 annual salaried position with Blue Cross and Health and Wellness benefits.
