Job Description / Duties

For this job, you need to drive in our mobile drapery cleaning unit to the client locations (mostly Theaters & Hotels), take the drapes down and put them in our drapery cleaning machine. Once cleaned, hang them back up. Repeat. Just that simple. We would like you to be able to drive the truck, but to start, you will work with a senior technician as a team and he can drive. Our system is completely non-toxic and environmentally friendly, no heat, no chemicals.

Some of our work is out of town, typically only a few days a month. Out of town work comes with a per diem, hotel and travel expenses fully paid. Must have clean criminal record.

Experience working in theaters would be great, as would good problem solving abilities. Fabric care, sewing, tailoring experience all assets.

Qualifications / Required Skills

-Ability to climb ladder
-Ability to lift heavy objects- drapes up to 50 pounds
-Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platforms, First Aid, WHMIS all an asset.
-Clean Driving Record
