Job Description / Duties
AUDIO TECHNICIAN
Vic Juba Community Theatre is seeking a full time House Technician (AUDIO) to join our team. This is a full time salaried position commencing as soon as possible. All interested parties should submit a resume and cover letter.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Technical Director and the General Manager, oversee all areas of audio system operation within the theatre and lobby areas.
Operate sound system for events as required.
Execute technical requirements for rental events.
Assist with load in, set up and strike of events.
Maintain inventory of audio equipment, including any necessary upgrades or repairs needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 yrs. experience in live sound mixing of various styles and genres.
Familiarity with digital and analog audio systems.
Familiarity with Digital Audio Workstations.
Ability to troubleshoot problem areas of audio systems.
Able to supervise stagehands during events.
Salary: 45k - 48k per year
