The Future of Signal Transport in Live Production: Fibre Optics in a High-Bandwidth Signal Chain (Digiflex)

Description: In recent years, signal chains in live production applications have evolved rapidly thanks to complex topologies, expanding signal types and higher bandwidth requirements. The emergence of transport over "Category" cable has helped carry networked audio, video and data signals over longer distances than previously achieved with traditional cabling. However with the growing requirement in live production for higher bandwidth UHD/4K video and multichannel audio over distances exceeding 330 feet/100 meters, it is growing clear that traditional copper-based transport systems, even Cat6A cables, will have a limited capacity in tomorrow's live production signal chains.

Come join us for a free educational seminar detailing the capabilities and advantages of fibre optics in YOUR high-bandwidth signal chain. The capacity for fibre optic cabling to carry multiple signal types, faster, farther and more economically than any copper-based cable on the market is making this medium increasingly common in live production systems.
