Bienvenue sur la page Web de la Section Ontario. La Section Ontario du CITT/ICTS est l'organisme régional représentant les membres qui vivent et travaillent dans les limites géographiques de l'Ontario.
Nous nous efforçons de fournir à nos membres une programmation éducative, informative et collégiale. Nous offrons aux personnes impliquées dans les techniques de scène en Ontario l’opportunité de recevoir de l'information et de fournir des commentaires à des organisations telles le Comité consultatif sur la santé et la sécurité dans l'industrie du spectacle de scène, le ministère du Travail de l'Ontario et Theatre Ontario.

We are very excited to offer CONNECT at no cost this year!
This year we will be hosting 1 day of sessions and our popular job fair. Students and emerging professionals should attend with resumes in hand, ready to chat and network with potential employers.
CITT Ontario has come back to the GTA with first time hosts, York University! Thank you to the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design for hosting us at the beautiful Sandra Faire and Ivan Fecan Theatre for our annual job fair.

À propos de CONNECT : L'événement annuel de réseautage et de développement professionnel de la section Ontario du CITT/ICTS
Réunissant des professionnels de toute l'industrie, des étudiants de plusieurs programmes postsecondaires, des employeurs, des vendeurs et des fabricants, CONNECT cherche à créer des liens au sein de l'industrie du spectacle dans notre région. De la très populaire foire à l'emploi, où les étudiants (et les professionnels) peuvent trouver leur prochain emploi, aux sessions éducatives sur les derniers sujets brûlants de l'industrie, il y a quelque chose pour tout le monde.

2025 AGM
The CITT/ICTS Ontario Section held its Annual General Meeting on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 11:00am EST
The Board of Directors for the Ontario Section of the Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology sent a call for nominations for positions on the Ontario Board of Directors. An election was held, see above for the 2026-26 Board constitution.

CONNECT 2025 was held at the University of Waterloo January 9-12.
This year's edition included a resume workshop, job fair, social activities and LOTS of professional development workshops!
CONNECT 2025 is proud to have partnered with IATSE Local 357, which represents many of the technicians in the Kitchener-Waterloo Region, including the Stratford Festival. IATSE 357 members will be hosting many of the sessions at this year's conference, assisting in securing consoles and technologies to demo and more!
2024 AGM
The CITT/ICTS Ontario Section held its Annual General Meeting on Sunday September 29, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. EDT, with a Social to follow at 6:30pm.
The AGM took place at the Edward Johnson Building, U of T Faculty of Music, in Toronto, ON M5S 2C5. A hybrid format as also be available via Zoom. All CITT/ICTS members who reside in Ontario were welcome to attend.

CONNECT 2024 | January 12, 2024
The 2024 Connect edition was held at the mainstage theatre at Toronto Metropolitan University (43 Gerrard St E, Toronto, ON M5G 2A7) on Friday, January 12, 2024 with the Job Fair starting at 6:00pm (doors at 5:30pm). Following the job fair was a networking social, open to all, hosted by IATSE Local 58.
CONNECT 2023 | January 6 - 8, 2023
From the ever popular Job Fair, where students (and professionals) can find their next gig, to educational sessions on the latest hot topics in the industry, there is something for everyone. CONNECT 2023 courses were open to all performing arts workers and offered at no cost as part of the trainings the IATSE is providing through the Canada Performing Arts Workers Resilience Fund.
