Job Description / Duties

The head of sound collaborates directly with the Directors, Lighting Technician, and Stage Management to successfully and accurately provide the technical sound requirements for several shows in a rep, two venue scenario.

A combination of remounting previous designs and shows that will require new content are in this years season - so an interest in Sound Design is an asset but not mandatory.

The Sound Technician is expected to partake is changeovers for both technical rehearsals as well as performances and the operating and mixing of shows in the main theatre. The Sound Technician may also be required to install and level shows in the company's second space, to be ran by Stage Management.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Skills in live mixing is mandatory (Several productions include live music reinforcement)
Post Secondary Training in theatre production (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge of QLab 3 programming and Macintosh Computers
Knowledge of Digital consoles (Behringer x32)
Knowledge of system design

Additional Information

Accommodations in the Trinity Bay area are provided by the company.

The Season runs from mid May - September (Labour Day Weekend)
