Production Manager/Technical Director/Mentor: The Production Manager/Technical Director will realize the two shows that we produce in repertory as well as Mentor our Interns. Interns are chosen by interview from theatre courses across Canada. We have had interns from various theatre production programs including Ryerson, Sheridan College, Acadia, Humber College, Dalhousie and Holland College.
The Watermark Theatre is small but is equipped with necessary tools. We work to as high as a standard as we can achieve. The successful applicant will work closely with Andrea Surich, General Manager. Bill Layton will be set and props designer for both shows. He will not be in residence so the PM/TD will have some degree of freedom in the decision-making process. Renee Brode will be Lighting Designer and will be in residence. This season we are producing The Mousetrap and The Trip to Bountiful in repertory. Both are being directed by our Artistic Director, Robert Tsonos.
• Able to schedule, supervise, produce CAD building drawings
• Has a good understanding of carpentry, lighting and sound
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Able to lead, teach and share knowledge. Has strong communication skills.
Dates & Fee: April 27 – July 11 $700 per week
Travel and Accommodations: Return flight to PEI at economy fares or equivalent if driving covered by Watermark Theatre. Watermark Theatre will assist in finding accommodations within the North Rustico area and cover the costs.
