Job Description / Duties
The Port Stanley Festival Theatre is seeking a Head Carpenter to join our team for our 2022 Summer Season. Reporting to the artistic director, theatre manager and production manager, this position an ideal opportunity for candidates seeking their first professional experience or to gain more experience before moving on to a larger stage.

Contract dates: May 16, 2022 – September 2, 2022
Hours: full-time, based on an average of 40hrs/wk
Qualifications / Required Skills
Reading, understanding and interpreting building drawings created by hand or in Vectorworks
Knowledge and experience in constructing and assembling sets including standard building practices
Ability to solve problems and suggest best methods for construction and assembly
Strong leadership skills working collaboratively in a small team environment are an asset
Salary: 700/week before employee payroll deductions
