Job Description / Duties
How do you effectively manage and identify hazards in the workplace? Ensuring the health and safety of cast and crew starts with recognizing potential hazards, making hazard identification the crucial first step in the risk assessment process.
Join us for this engaging and interactive workshop, where you’ll explore the various types of hazards you might encounter on set. You’ll learn how to identify these hazards and properly record your worksite assessments. Gain insights into the causes of injuries and discover practical strategies to reduce risks and incidents. Throughout the workshop you’ll utilize the Job Safety Analysis and Field Level Risk Assessment forms, demonstrating and practicing due diligence as you identify hazards and risks in different environments.

Qualifications / Required Skills
For virtual sessions, the participant guide is attached to your confirmation email along with the zoom link to join the session. Have a secondary device available, such as a tablet, for referencing the participant manual during the virtual facilitated group session.
- Previous supervisory skills an asset.
- Must be currently employed in, or seeking a career within the B.C. arts and entertainment industry.
