The successful candidate will teach Stage Management and courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. Supervision of student technical crews and responsibility for safety and equipment coordination are assigned to this position.
A terminal degree in theatre or a combination of exceptional teaching and professional experience, and professional theatre experience in stage management and other areas of technical theatre are required. Experience with post-secondary institutions is an asset. The University aspires to hire individuals who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and creative activity, and have the potential to contribute actively to the Department of Theatre & Dramatic Arts and Faculty of Fine Arts.
