Job Description / Duties

- Working with a Creative Director or collaborative team to create the film or video products
- Cleaning and disassembling hardware
- Setting up and tearing down cameras, audio recorders, lighting, microphones, and props.
- Calibrating and maintaining equipment
- Preparing background film or “B” rolls as well as live feed
- Troubleshoots problems with the equipment
- Work in the studio as part of a production team to edit film

Qualifications / Required Skills

- Manual dexterity, physical mobility, and some physical strength/stamina
- Passion, Creativity, and attention to detail
- Ability to work under deadline pressure
- Organization and Time managemenrt
- Ability to capture snippets of film and be able to edit it into a cohesive story
- Ability to seamlessly edit both old and new footage together into a cohesive story
- Flexibility and good listening skills
- Enough patience to wait for the perfect shot
- Energy and determination
- Technical capability to be able to operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, and lighting.
- Technical capability to operate video recording equipment Sony 6400 Mirrorless camera, Sony 7 III Mirrorless camera, and a variety of lenses.
- Technical capability to operate Zoom RODE Go II wireless mics, Zoom H6 audio recorder, Zoom XYH-6 Adjustable X/Y Capsule, and Rode shotgun video mics.
- Technical capability to be able to operate an iMac Pro and MacOS editing suite (Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Motion, Compressor, etc.)
- Understanding of post-production techniques

This job requires temporary relocation to Trinity, NL
Housing will be provided by Rising Tide Theatre

This position is for Creative Videographer that will be curating content for a rep theatre company. This will include filming our productions, scenes, and other theatrically oriented content. Any theatre experience may be considered an asset.

Salary: $700.00 - $800.00 weekly experience dependant
