Job Description / Duties

This position will report to and assist the Production Canada Construction Project Managers to help our clients bring their event visions to life. Using knowledge of scenic construction, the employee shall create CAD drawings/renders.

- Create client facing CAD drawings (Vectorworks preferred)
- Create construction drawings for carpenters (Vectorworks preferred)
- Facilitating the design & build process with a keen understanding of scenic construction techniques
- Collaborate with project managers to obtain knowledge of the clients’ requirements
- Use PC approved templates
- Ability to work well in a team and on your own
- Ability to respond well to constructive criticism and maintain a positive attitude

Qualifications / Required Skills

- Exceptional working knowledge of CAD, Sketchup, Vectorworks, etc
- Understanding of Live Event Construction build methodology

Additional Information

This contract position will be based per project. Average project hours can range from 4 to 32.

Salary: Remuneration based on skills and experience per hour. Hourly Rate = $30 - $45
