Job Description / Duties
The Assistant Technical Director (Scenic Carpenter) will primarily be responsible for building scenic stage sets for all our theatre productions. Under supervision of the Technical Director, the Assistant Technical Director will oversee the smooth operation of technical aspects for all Lighthouse productions and rental events mounted or presented at Lighthouse Theatre, Port Colborne, including supervising the Head Technician and casual labour.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Minimum Two Year Postsecondary education in Technical Production or proven equivalent experience in scenic carpentry.
Strong carpentry/building skills essential.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Valid Ontario Drivers License and reliable means of transportation (occasional travel to Port Dover required).
